Jurassic World: Dominion Gets Release Date, Cast Announced
Universal Pictures has finally announced the release date for the latest installment in the Jurassic World franchise, Jurassic World: Dominion.
The film will hit theaters on June 10, 2022, and will see the return of Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard as Owen Grady and Claire Dearing, respectively.
The film will also feature a star-studded cast that includes Scarlett Johansson, Mahershala Ali, and Laura Dern.
The film will follow the events of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, which saw the dinosaurs escaping from Isla Nublar and wreaking havoc on the mainland.
Director Colin Trevorrow has promised that Jurassic World: Dominion will be "a culmination of everything we've seen in the franchise so far."
"We're bringing it all back to where it started," Trevorrow said. "We're going to see characters from all three films come together in a way that's both exciting and satisfying."
The film's release date was announced alongside a first-look image of Johansson and Ali in character.
The image shows the two actors standing face-to-face in a lush jungle setting.
Johansson is holding a gun, while Ali is wearing a military uniform.
The image has sparked speculation that the two characters will be working together to fight the dinosaurs.
