Scheffler Starts Strong
Scottie Scheffler, the reigning Masters champion, made a strong start to the 2024 PGA Championship at Valhalla Golf Club in Louisville, Kentucky. He sits in a tie for fifth place after shooting a 67 in the first round.
Schauffele, who won the 2019 Masters, is leading the tournament after shooting a nine-under 62 in the first round. This ties the lowest 18-hole round ever recorded in the PGA Championship.
Other notable players in the field include Rory McIlroy, Jon Rahm, and Justin Thomas. The tournament will continue through Sunday, May 21.
